When the merchandise looks its best in a department store, chances are it is on display either in or on a case made by Wood Designs Inc. This Oklahoma City based manufacturer in the 80's made the switch over from making quality homes that were featured in magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens to applying its craftsmanship providing displays cases to some of the country's high-end retailers. Along with wood, the company works with metal, glass, laminate and fabric.
When a company does one thing, it has to do it well. In the case of West Pak Avocado, one of the largest packers of this healthy green fruit, their process has to do it with food safety strongly in mind. As Robert Salaski field manager for West Pak puts it, their goal is "safety, safety, safety."
